Douceur Soft™ Modal fibers have gained the reputation for their environmentally responsible closed loop production process, which transforms wood pulp into cellulosic fibers with high resource efficiency and low ecological impact. This solvent-spinning process recycles process water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99%.
Why Pima Cotton Pajamas?
If you don’t already know what Pima cotton is, it’s basically a high-end variation of regular cotton. It has longer fibers than the alternatives, which make it smoother and silkier than other fabrics used to make pajamas. This smooth texture is perfect for those with sensitive skin or high standards of comfort.
Pima cotton is also lighter and airier than other fabrics that pajamas are often made of. This makes it ideal for warm nights where you want to keep cool. You’ll even still feel the breeze against your skin when laying in a room with an open window!
In addition to being perfect for hot summer nights, Pima cotton lasts a lot longer than other shorter-staple cotton varieties do. It resists regular wear and tear and stretches rather than tearing. It also won’t shrink in the wash, which is a problem that many other textiles have.
In fact, Pima cotton won’t even wrinkle. Even after being folded up in a drawer or crumpled into a ball (horrors!), it will still be silky and smooth right after you take it out because the longer fibers create more wrinkle-resistance.
